2026 Project Homeless Connect: Milwaukee - Afternoon Guest Advocate Shift (12:00-4:00)

Project Homeless Connect is a community event that brings a variety of resources and services under one roof to help individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability gain access to their basic needs. Volunteering at this event gives you the opportunity to support these individuals directly as they navigate the varying resources and booths throughout the event!

Guest Advocate Volunteer Description:

Act as a guide to help our community members navigate the event.
Interact one-on-one with individuals throughout the event and ensure they visit each resource table to learn about various services available to them.
When a guest leaves, return to the intake area to escort another guest.
Assist with other duties as assigned including serving lunch, health & hygiene room, check in/check out, and/or other resource areas.
